To help us customize your service program at Oak Park Senior Living to your individual needs, a list of a la carte services is available for add-on. These include any of our services that aren't scheduled on a daily basis, or aren't included in your regular service program. A la carte services are especially popular with senior residents in Independent Living apartments who just want a little bit of assistance in one or two areas. The food is good and the service is okay.

But there's no way to get outside from the room. The place was great but it's not what we needed. The food looked really good there, and the cafeteria was great. It's a clean place, it's nice and the people we talked to were nice.
Time is spent every day sending out thoughts that you will stay well, at work and in your personal lives. In my 30 years of health care I have never worked with such a great nurse. I miss learning from her and her sweet, level headed, brilliant, and caring soul.

The independent senior lifestyle at Oak Park is filled with recreational, educational and social opportunities. It also allows seniors more time to themselves and less time performing home maintenance and yard work. It's a great place to entertain old friends and meet new ones.
The activity director is full of energy, and she works her tail off to keep things interesting. My mother has made so many new friends, and again, the residents that live there embrace newcomers with open arms. Everyone is genuinely friendly, not “fake friendly”, as I have seen at other places. The bottom line is this, once you have most of your daily needs taken care of, and you are in a stimulating environment with people that you come to call family, life is happy! There is so much more that I am not mentioning, you really have to see for yourself, take a tour, and find out the abundance of “extras” for yourself. We've been pleased with Oak Park Retirement.

Before the virus the service was great! Got a menu each week to choose what you want. Could not have asked for such a more welcoming place for my mother in law. The staff and accommodations offered were excellent.
Thank you to all of the families that donated to our adopt a family tree! We take care of transportation to and from appointments and planned group outings which is very popular. The setting is small, hallways are short and most of all it’s warm and welcoming.

Most of the residents I've met are very happy living there, which creates a very positive atmosphere. My dad participates in quite a few activities, mostly bingo and other games. Oak Park offers transportation to appointments and stores, they also allow pets.
Whether you want to read a book or do a puzzle, we have a warm environment that feels just like home. In the heart of Oak Park Heights, Oak Park Senior Living is near many shopping and activity options. Oak Park Retirement Resort was still seemingly too new and the people living there didn't know what was going on. There were not very many people there, and there was not much interaction. Thank you everyone and Thank you to the Residents, Families and my work family for making yesterday and today special.

So she's getting her meds on a more regular basis now that she's got some kind of checkup with her. So hopefully, she can age in place here. It does not mean somebody is just in her face all the time to care for her, she just needed more help than what she could get at home, but not nursing home facilities yet.

We started looking for a independent living community for Linda's mom. We knew we wanted to select some place in Katy, Tx to be close to us and we toured 8 different places. It was getting frustrating because none of them offered all of what we were looking for until we received a recommendation from a friend to look at Oak Park. From the moment we walked in the front doors and started the tour with Veronica we knew this was was going to be the #1 choice. The staff, the environment, the food, the activities, etc.
